The Newcastle Hackney Carriage Driver Association aims to protect and improve the livelihoods of all its members. Its purpose is to provide representation for the Hackney Carriage trade, to challenge and initiate policies to ensure safe and forward thinking working practices and to raise and highlight our concerns with Newcastle City Council.
We welcome all members in the belief that unity, inclusion and solidarity will give us a strong presence and the ability to negotiate on behalf of our industry.
For too long we have been divided and weakened whilst changes have seriously impacted on us. We are proud of our role within the City of Newcastle upon Tyne whilst recognising there is much to be done to improve our profile and overall customer service for the benefit of all. We are determined to work with the challenges faced by ongoing changes and developments throughout the City.
We will constructively fight for recognition, for progress and for success in order to secure our future.
If you want to chat with fellow Newcastle Hackney drivers in a moderated, friendly room with 7 administrators, strict rules regarding bad language and positive ideas moving forward within our trade, please follow the instructions here.
